Hello! My name's Andy Brennan. I am wondering if I am related in some way, because my grandmother was Reva Frazee. If this website is accurate (https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/187821335/reva-l-brennan) then Reva's mother was Anna Naomi Frazee, and Reva's father was Lowell Frazee. I believe they all lived in Indianapolis. I just started researching so I'm not sure of much. Anyway, perhaps we're related? I started filling out my ancestors on wikitree.com to see if I could connect to anyone. Feel free to shoot me an email at andykbrennan-~at~-gmail.com and have a good one!
ReplyDeleteThanks for adding the findagrave link - very helpful.
DeleteIn one of those amazing coincidences, we did have a Lowell Frazee marrying an Anna, who lived in Indianapolis. However, our Lowell was born 3/23/1920 in Glenn County, California, and the Anna was Anna Semecnovna Fesunoff - or something like that spelling as it was originally in Cyrillic. I haven't yet made contact with their two sons who should still be alive and living in Indianapolis, Val and George Frazee.
If you believe the everchanging "reality" of our distant Frazee ancestors, we have to go back all the way to the first Frazee in America: Joseph Ephraim Frazee (1640 - 1714) with two brothers Elisha and John. From that, it would be that we are 8th cousins, once removed. Over the years, I've seen a few changes in J.E. Frazee's wives and birth locations and ancestors, so I'm looking forward to what we'll all find out using genetic testing. I think it can settle things that old documents and the internet make cloudy.
Best of luck with your research!
