Lois B. Rollins
Lois B. Rollins, 59, of 9378 Strausser Rd. N.W., Massillon,
passed away Sunday afternoon of Timken Mercy Medical Center in Canton,
following an extended illness.
Born in Hollydale, Calif., she moved to the Massillon area
in 1972 from Union City, Tenn. She was a former employee of M. B. Operating Co.,
and a member of Canton Baptist Temple.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kathy Rollins,
Dec. 4, 1971. Survivors include her husband, William C. Rollins of the home, to
whom she would have been married 41 years in January, 1990; daughter, Karen
Hurd of Canal Fulton; brothers, David Bower of Norwalk, Calif, and Lanier Bower
of Campbellsville, Ky.; sisters, Ruth Vasquez of Covina, Calif, and Becky Mann
of Campbellsville, Ky.; and grandchildren, Mark and Kimberly Hurd.
Services will be held Wednesday, 1 p.m., in the Chapel of
Canton Baptist Temple, with Rev. Jim Henniger officiating. Burial will be at
Sunset Hills Burial Park. Calling hours at the Reed Funeral Home Tuesday, 7 to
9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to the Canton
Baptist Temple Bus Ministries.
